Importing to Angola

Angola has 8 ports which are Cabinda, Lobito, Luanda, Namibe, Porto Amboima and Soyo. Luanda and Lobito are the common ones used for Ro Ro shipment. There was a law in 2010 that all New Cars should be shipped to port of Luanda and Used cars to port of Lobito. Shipping to Angola takes about three weeks and pre shipment inspection is required by Angolan law.

This is carried out by a testing organisation which will now issue a certicate called "Clean Report of Findings" before vehicles can be shipped to Angola.
